Starting with one step at a time.

Today started as Day #2 of Nora's breast cancer journey.  We saw the plastic surgeon yesterday and although it was stressful and awkward for Nora since is was a visual examination...in front of a very large mirror.  We laughed so hard our faces were red, laughter is truly 'good medicine!" 
Then the update today is that Nora had a an MRI of the affected area.   There was a new area in the affected breast and two suspicious that need to biopsied.  That will probably take place next week.  We are believing God is in control and we are NOT.

      Today was in reality a difficult day, emotionally. Ms. Nora is a lady of order. She is used to having predictable sequence of events; today was a total disruption of order. We both have realized and dealt with the reality of who actually holds things together and has control over these many things. Tonight, at home, we are watching, saving Mr. Banks. It is the story of Pamela Travers who was also a lady of order. We have a new member of the family, Paisley. Paisley is a 6 months old Schnoodle--part Schnauzer and part Poodle. She is quite a loving and happy soul. We can be thankful we had today to learn to lean on Him. Proverbs 3:5 If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don’t ever trust yourself..

    When Mike had his brain tumor I begged God for a scripture to hang on to. He gave me John 11:4.

    She is a little sore tonight but she is doing okay. Great friends brought great food tonight. Very thankful.
