Today Is a good day. Nora is less sore, and is moving around a little better. Today we found that the BRCA test was negative! This is great news for the kids!! We have found that Nora's surgery will be scheduled for the week of August 11. This was the first time that the surgeons' schedules could be coordinated. It seems appropriate that the schedule would be on this day, as it was my Dad's birthday. He was one of the most loving, compassionate right angled guys ever. Today we have confirmed we are blessed with some many friends and family who have prayed and cared for us. It seems many are being called to pray specifically for Nora. These people are ones who have learned to rest in Him and seek out time for supplication. This helped me today: "What is a prayer of supplication?"
Answer: We come to God in prayer for a variety of reasons—to worship Him, to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness, to thank Him for His blessings, to ask for things for ourselves, and/or to pray for the needs of others. The Hebrew and Greek words most often translated “supplication” in the Bible mean literally “a request or petition,” so a prayer of supplication is asking God for something. Unlike the prayer of petition, which is praying on behalf of others, the prayer of supplication is generally a request for the person praying."

Enjoying an evening at home. Love our family. We received some good news and fair news today. The good news is that the lymph nodes were benign. The not so good news is that there is a second type of cancer in the breast. At this point, this fact will not change the approach as far as we know. The surgery is still scheduled for the same time.
